Magnolia Stellata

This magnolia has burst into bloom in the last week.
It is planted at the bottom of the garden beside the hut and the last time I went to look it was in tight bud.
Lots of flowers this year.
A busy day with the unusual pleasure of welcoming a friend to the garden for tea in the garden.
The sun still shines.
