Egyptian grasshopper

I thought it was a locust but it definitely looks more like an Egyptian grasshopper according to my insect book. The stripey eyes are quite distinctive.
Spent the morning in Aliveri getting my eyes tested, choosing new glasses, obtaining a new router, picking up my repaired laptop and doing a few other jobs.
The least successful of all was the new router, which makes not one bit of difference to our internet problem - it still keeps cutting out for no apparent reason.
We attempted a Skype dinner with G&S in Athens, but after 2 interruptions in just over an hour , we decided to give up.
