My kind of pub? / Meine Art von Kneiper?

German beer is great, but Kneiper will never match proper British pubs. However, this little gem round the corner from our flat does look like my kind of place.

It’s small, local, and understated. The collection of bikes outside suggests I’d get on well with the clientele. And if you look carefully, the windows have been dedicated to celebrating the little-known Greifswald poet Sibylla Schwarz - what’s not to like?

Just one problem - it’s been shut for the whole time I’ve been here. Let’s hope I can at least pop in for a farewell drink...
