A grand day out

Walking along the path by the River Forth in Aberfoyle was very enjoyable but then we caught sight of some youngsters having a great time on the cycle trail which has been created on a fairly high mound in the middle of the field.

This little lad was amazing as he scooted down the winding stony path, on his trainer bike, at some considerable speed and of course before you can go down the corkscrew again you’ve got to get back up to the top. I think he came back up as quickly as he went down.

On our way home we even went into a shop that wasn’t a supermarket or chemist. Lakeland was open and the feeling was like being a child in a sweetie shop! I was very restrained though I just bought two boxes of the foil sheets which I find easier than a great big roll.
