Continuing A Theme

I don’t often drive down through Penryn, there really isn’t a lot to go for, but as I was on my way out to the Gig Rowing tonight I was caught up in traffic and noticed this.
It’s the right time of the year although thirty-nine years on.
I have no real idea why a Falkland Island flag is hanging in Penryn, nor how long it’s been there, given its condition I’d say for a while. Neither do I know what the ‘Fisherman’s Invictus Mission’ is but I’ll look when I get home.

Gig rowing, our first ‘race’ between the two Veteran crewed gigs was close but our gig won by a nose, great fun and great exercise.
