Cherry

Today would have been my Mother's 97th. Birthday and it seemed appropriate to blip the cherry blossom that is covering the tree we planted last autumn. She owned a small orchard in the village where she lived which my sisters and I donated to the local community, establishing a charitable trust to preserve the orchard and local wildlife. Another dry, sunny day but feeling cold out of the sun and frosty over night. The ground every where is getting very dry and is going to be a problem if we don't have some rain soon for the farmers and gardeners. Having said that, we have been able to make more progress in the garden.
