Starry Sunrise

Year 2 Day 23 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 130 days ago. England & Wales opening up. Non restricted travel through Wales/England.

I started the climb to the top of Corn Du, Brecon Beacons at 2am to have a couple of hours under the stars and watch the sunrise. The main shows the tent with Pen Y Fan behind with a friend pointing to the stars, and the lovely glow from the start of sunrise.

The first extra shows Pen Y fan and Cribyn mountains with a cloud inversion in the valley behind them. The other extra is of Pen Y Fan with sunrise colours. With ground level temperatures at freezing it was quite cold on top but an enjoyable night. I got home just after 8am and it didn't take long to fall asleep!
