The outgoing tide rushes through the Wharf Road culvert and past the Motueka marina as it makes its way past the wharf and out to sea.

Minutes later the sun, descending in the late afternoon sky, disappeared behind a wide band of black clouds sitting above the Western Ranges.



Thank you for the comments and stars for yesterday’s glimpse of Kiyosato Garden in Motueka. The Sister Township between Motueka and Kiyosato began in 1990 - which resulted in student exchanges between Motueka and Kiyosato High Schools. Of course Covid-19 has put any exchange on hold!
