freezing rain

Today started out dark and gray, with the mountains completely covered over. The morning walk was cold and dreary. But I had a lunch out with friends, followed by an afternoon meeting with two other friends to catch up over a jigsaw puzzle and a glass of Prosecco. I hardly noticed the weather. But on the way home it started to rain, then hail, then rain again, so the afternoon walk was scuttled. Here is my only photo of the day.
