Narrowboat 'Martha'

They've been few and far between on the canals recently due to lockdown, but are now beginning to reappear, and holidays can now be booked, like with this firm, Black Prince Boating, for a life of leisure on the waterways!
This narrowboat was heading towards Wigan from the direction of Manchester via the connecting Leigh Branch of the Leeds/Liverpool Canal through the picturesque Wigan Local Nature Reserve.
The guys onboard were pleased when I told them I'd Tweet their image to the Canal and River Trust, and the latter were delighted with the image I shared!
