Spring is here...

...despite a frosty night with -5°C in the morning. It was +9°C in the afternoon and almost no wind made it feel quite warm. There were lots of insects in the blooming coltsfoot. The hepatica (extra #1) is blooming also in many places already.

The firewood chopper needed some maintenance, and so did the road. No chopping today. 

The deer were on the field again in the evening, three this time. I walked along the road to the corner of the field and we watched each other for some time before they left. I walked by the ditch towards the pond and noticed that the swans (extra #3) were walking in the same direction on the next field. When they were in the pond, I walked to the shore and got some nice photos of them (extra #4).
