Experimenting
I know we should get off 'auto' and I do when I remember; but lately I have tried to do it more. I know this is only a bit of the Mahonia - past its best as the blooms are going - there was a bee on when I came in the gate but it scarpered when it saw the camera. However, I am quite pleased with the effect with the busy background totally out of focus. I was shooting with Aperture priority (f6.3), the ISO set at 800, and the shutter came out at 1/320. Pity the camera can't capture the scent as well!
