Head space (Day 2153)

The plan for today was that I would have a day off, doing stuff around home and dealing with the woofers while my beautiful wife was on a 24 hour shift. A call out from a customer put paid to that plan and I was in Stromness at 9am looking at water dripping out of the bottom of a water heater. I zoomed to town and collected a replacement, returning to Stromness to fit it and the pressure reducing valve which was missing from the original installation.
I was finished by noon and headed to the yard to wash the van, meeting HV there. Washing the van turned into washing HV's car too as it had been parked down wind of the van and got half washed.
Home for lunch then out with the woofers at Lyde. I let Talisker do his own thing today to see how he got on, and he has improved massively in the last few days. Much more steady on his feet and seeming to pay attention to his surroundings.
Later, when HV got home from work, we headed across to Stromness for a fast and dirty ride on the horses across the moors behind Stromness. Great fun in the sunshine and just what I was needing.
