I appear to have found myself in the middle of a blip drought.

At least I'm still persevering. It's a good job I'm too stubborn to quit. Hopefully Spring will bring some renewed enthusiasm.

We've had a very amusing afternoon at school with H today. Rather than have a parents' evening, the school have invited the parents of the reception class into school for a few hours, and today was our turn. H was of course in full on show-off mode having Matt and I there.

There's not many things in life as funny as a class full of five year olds doing PE....!

Lunchbox update: Yesterday I bought H a new Spiderman lunchbox. He wouldn't let it out of his sight all evening, and when I went to check on him and tuck him in late last night, I found his beloved teddy had been cast aside and instead of cuddling that he was cuddling the lunchbox. He came into our room still carrying it this morning, but luckily he's gone to bed without it tonight.
