Dandy Peacock

Had a fabulous day out in North Yorkshire. We drove to Helmsley and stopped for coffee and toasted tea cake. Then on to nearby Nunnington Hall. We parked in the hall car park and then did circular walk of 5.5 miles....taking in some spectacular views of the moors and dales.

We passed a very grand barn/warehouse (see extra) that looks as though it is being renovated.

Back at the hall we had a late lunch - cup of tea and sausage roll, then we walked around the garden where this stunning peacock was posing on a bench. I liked that his tail was flowing down to the gound

Stopped at a garden centre on the way home, then on to Wetherby for fuel and something for tea from M&S.

Back home, video call with granddaughters, tea in the oven and a quick rummage through my photos for blip....
