Kite flying at Dungeness

Very windy so good for flying kites on the beach. This is the Dungeness power station in the distance.
The extra is taken on the memorial road area at Folkestone near the War memorial for WW1 and WW2 in the Leas area which looks down to the beach. Some huge new buildings , maybe flats or something, are being built down on the sea front . Loads of memorial poppies, crocheted and knitted on the railings. Sad to see the old Leas Lift funicular railway disused and disintegrating. Apparently it closed in 2009. Dating from 1885 it is one of the oldest water operated lifts in the country and is listed....but will it be restored?
