Picnic by the river

We were going to go to Attingham Park for a picnic today. We drove in and realised that it was crammed with masses of people who had had the same idea as us. We drove straight out and decided to head to the river bank by Atcham bridge and have our picnic there. It was wonderful. So peaceful, just watching the ducks and swans. There was a tiny blue tit who kept flying in and out of the stonework on the old bridge. I guess she must have had a nest in there. What a lovely outing!!!
