Dublin Meuse

I always enjoy walking to work through The New Town (which, of course, isn't new at all). This morning I cut through to Nelson Street from Dublin Street along Dublin Meuse and past the Star Bar. I haven't used that route, probably for years rather than months, and found even more mews houses there than before - they are just lovely. One of them had this marvellous display of green, all from pots strategically placed on the cobblestones.

I'll refer to this image each time I undertake more gardening tasks as it was certainly an inspiration on a very cold, 'dreich' Edinburgh day.
