Resting Place

This afternoon, we interred the ashes of both Jill’s parents at the Wanaka Cemetry. What a beautiful, peaceful place it is. It is super to have them close by.

This morning we met out of town friends for coffee and then went to a wonderful Festival of Colour Arts Festival talk called “Mapping The Ancestral Landscapes of Te Waipounamu”

This evening, we are going out for dinner with Jill’s brother, SIL and nephew.

A day of variety that started with a lakeside walk for an hour.
