What a surprise

The other day I mentioned in passing that when I was a child I was never able to have one of those Crayola 64 Crayon boxes.

There were a few kids in class that had them, but it wasn’t a wealthy community.
We certainly didn’t have the kind of money for that sort of extravagance. I was pleased with my 24 crayon box.

Well, somebody overheard my comment and much to my surprise yesterday I received in the mail, this box of crayons I could never own as a child.

What a fun surprise! And it’s the deluxe model with the built in crayon sharpener in the back. That was luxury upon luxury.

I am now the proud owner of this box of 64 crayons. What a delight. And they work wonderfully. The smell reminds me of grade one.
