Did a lovely walk today, about 13k, along the river and then up hill and back via very quiet roads. Passed one group of walkers and had lunch outside an old chapel.
It was actually quite warm. Passed a new holiday development with luxury pods and when we looked over the wall all the chickens came running up to us. Some very pretty ones.
Baked pecan and chocolate cookies when we got back.
Last nights heavy rain highlighted a problem with the guttering at the front as water was pouring out and down the front windows, I put a message out on the village Facebook page asking for recommendations and following a number of responses called someone who called in to look at it and he is going to replace next week.
