Mochi Ice Creams

Blipper LadyMarchmont the other day raved about 'little moons' or 'mochi` - Chinese ice creams - on her blip.  I really liked the sound of them and on our walk tonight we went into the big Chinese supermarket that's only 10' from our house and that we walk past often, but have never gone into. For some reason, despite the proximity, it doesn't feel part of our barrio. We were gobsmacked by the size of the place and range of what was on offer!  It made us want to go back with someone who could guide us to buy the right things. At the cash desk, clutching our few purchases, I asked about mochi Ice creams. 'Yes, we have them!' and she took us to the freezer and sure enough, there they were, and here they are on my blip, only green tea flavor, but I took them.  Now, I had it in my mind that they were little bite size ice creams, kind of like the size of chocolates in a box of Milk Tray (do they still exist?). I was very surprised and disappointed to see two giant mochis in the box! Anyway, we had them tonight. Bb crunched his way through his but I only managed half of mine. I now wonder if they weren't ice creams but rather just frozen mochis!!  Anyway, thank you LadyMarchmont for this adventure! The search continues.
