Clockwork

5pm means Betty goes full blue steel ...It's her dinner time human hard stare. That's me told. Although Tess and I were cooing over her as she looked gorgeously velvetty in the sunlight.

Up at 7 to bash out a report for 9am that i should have done the day before, last minute yet again.

Spent the day freezing while working in my dining room desk while it was actually gloriously warm outside. Really good final meeting of the day where two proposals i'd written up were well received. Not gonna lie, it was a much needed morale boost.

The last willow edgings arrived and sam and I bashed them in making the veggie area look like its coming together, while all the wee garden birds frenzied around us and the robins waited for worms.

Speaking of the boy who keeps vampire hours, his college offer was confirmed today which is brilliant but i'm still nagging him to get an apprenticeship application in for a fantastic local opportunity. Time will tell, time will tell.

Gingerly drove my geriatric new wheels to get lunchtine provisions (okay, emergency chocolate), i'm officially driving Betty Blue like a Sunday driver for fear i might break her but I'm officially fiercely protective of my 18 year old non-ferrari.
