Paint Date
A super early trip to the Post Office to send (almost) the last blessing bracelets...home via Nude. We saw a homeless woman we only see at funerals - she stays in a broken car somewhere. So so lovely to see her under nice circumstances - as she said, let's not meet at funerals any more. Wednesday mornings are usually date mornings with Danny, but recently we've not been able to stick to it. Today we did! We had to wait in for an exciting birthday delivery from Bulliblips so decided to do some painting together. We've got some pouring paints which are a lot of (messy) fun.
Sole wave today but she wasn't in her cell, in fact the whole women's block seemed empty. From there we took a picnic to a park with a dramatic cliff top view. We discovered some step going down towards the sea so followed them and discovered it had been a Carmelite monks secret place. He'd redirected spring water and created a super luscious place with all sorts of flora and fauna - fascinating and beautiful! His little cave has been preserved so we were able to take a peek.
Home and Isabel came over to play. I spent a lot of the afternoon searching for apartments for our Swiss friend who'll be living here this summer...no joy yet...
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Bulliblips kindness - very very happy kids! Thankyou!
2) A fun morning with Danny.
3) The kids being in bed - Nate's overtired and therefore acting like a bit of a grotbag!!
