Circling
We headed back over to Kenmore today to visit the Falls of Acharn and the moors behind them.
I've been wanting to do this walk for a while. I had earmarked it for one to do when we could #staylocal as opposed to #stayhome but before travel restrictions were lifted completely when it might get busier as parking in Acharn itself is limited.
Today was an ideal opportunity and it didn't disappoint. The falls themselves were not in full flow but the Hermits Cave you have to go through to reach the viewing platform was fun. The walk then heads through farmland with fine views of Loch Tay and the hills beyond and passed by a stone circle before heading onto the moors. On the way back down we saw several hares, lapwings and a black grouse.
