Clematis

This clematis grows by the side of the front porch and just does its thing with no attention from me, my sort of plant. It's flowering a bit later than usual this year as are a lot of things, it is often in flower by the first week of April. 

I did once try to work out what sort it is but didn't get very far as there are just so many varieties. I'm currently trying to buy a couple of group 3 ones for the back garden but after spending an hour or more on the website of a specialist nursery the other day, looking through dozens and dozens of the things, I ended up with complete decision paralysis and didn't order anything.
