Wings

Early Wednesday morning walk at Mugdock, very quiet and peaceful, frosty but warm in the sunshine.
This mallard was having a good splash about in the water and flapping his beautiful wings. I was going to title this blip angel wings but having googled this I found out that there is a condition in ducks called ‘angel wing’ which causes the flight feathers on the tip of the wings to point away from the body instead of lying flat, this duck happily does not suffer from this !
