A day

In the end, the only thing on today's to-do list that I actually did was to visit the specialist.  That was stressful enough for me to just go home and stay there hanging out with Sylvie.  Her diagnostic perspective was more benign than I expected, but the surgery she would perform is more major than I thought. After a painful biopsy, it was time to go home and do some online research about that surgery and what I might expect afterward.  Now I'm reconsidering and waiting to get the results of the biopsy before deciding to actually go ahead with the surgery or watch and wait some more.  Big surprise - I have a dreadful headache.

Sylvie let me pick her up and hold her in my arms today.  In 13 years I was never able to do that with Minkelina.  It felt very good.  Tomorrow I will move ahead with all the things I didn't get done today.
