Tree Sparrow

The tree sparrow is relatively rare in the UK. A little smaller than the house sparrow, and quite a bit shyer. We are lucky to have two pairs who feed regularly, bringing our sparrow species-count up to 3. We thought it was 4 until we discovered that what I spotted and called a Hedge-Sparrow is actually the same as what P spotted and called a Dunnock.
