Hovering in preparation for another meal

We had a visitor to the garden today when my sister came to see us. She hasn't been able to visit for more than a year, so it was a big day out. Helena prepared a fine cold lunch with a delicious frittata she cooked this morning, and her own home made tapenade as well as many other tasty morsels. The patio table even had its big awning erected to keep the warm sun off us.

We saw a couple of butterflies so I grabbed my camera. Unfortunately my movements scared them away. So I stayed on my chair on the patio and photographed this bee which was enjoying an abundance of nectar. It is now a significantly cropped image  which can enter todays Tiny Tuesday challenge.
