Exchequer gate, Lincoln.

At last we are back to work. The second day of opening the gallery it is still quiet in the Cathedral quarter of Lincoln. We are confident that given a bit of time people will find us again. These two stone gargoyles are part of the newly restored Exchequer gate. One has been weathered over hundreds of years and the other a new and interesting character to watch over the visitors to Lincoln.
