Breaking through!

Another sever frost overnight! Glorious sunshine to start the day!
Listened to a Visit Scotland webinar about opening up tourism, and much was discussed about the industry needing clarity from government, finished at 12 noon, BF phoned 15 minutes after to ask if I’d heard the news the FM had announced travel restrictions being lifted earlier than planned, as if Friday we can travel anywhere in Scotland foe the day, no overnight stays as yet! And from 26th April Scotland is opening up to the rest of the UK ! What a relief for everyone involved in tourism, hospitality and the support companies of these industries, let’s hope the public respect the rules of masks etc so we can keep the virus at bay and don’t have to go into another lockdown. The vaccine programme is continuing well. This one had been a tough one for so many!
Checked over the plants which were starting to grow, there’s quite a few been zapped by this frost! Watered the garden as we haven’t had much rain now for about 2 weeks! Hard to believe!

I feel relieved knowing I can travel to see family and friends further afield from the weekend,
