Yellow deadnettles.

Came across this patch of beauties, not far from home.
I heard rustling in the dead foliage on a steep bank nearby these nettles, waiting patiently out popped a thrush with a bill full of nest material, he hadn’t spotted me but still hopped and dodged his way up to a young newly foliaged hawthorn bush. I could just see the nest in a fork 2 thirds of the way up.
