Flame appeal

Had sunshine for ladies meet up today.  Even though it was a lot warmer, they still liked having the fire going.

Text from Brazilian neighbours who have been stranded in Brazil since visiting family for Christmas on 15th December.  Have just had their fifth attempt at booking a flight home.  It is for the 1st May, but not convinced it will happen.  Fortunately they are still able to continue their work remotely, which is what they were doing here anyway.  Assured them the house is still standing.  I think the car in the drive will have a flat battery!!  They normally drive to the airport, but this time they had a taxi, which turned out to be a wise decision.
