One of about 20 Yellow Wagtails passing through Grafham Water on their migration this morning. Never still for long, they love scuttling along the water's edge picking off flies.
Addition: It is a summer visitor, migrating to winter in Africa. It breeds in a variety of habitats in the UK, including arable farmland, wet pastures and upland hay meadows.Their arrival in places like Grafham is the penultimate stage of migration before they disperse to their breeding grounds.
