Horsetail parade

A fab day for a group bike rode in bubbles of 6 to one of our favourite cafes, now reopened. There was just enough sun to stave off hypothermia while we nattered and enjoyed refreshments - I even treated myself to toasted sandwiches. Back home I sat by the solar fountain and later on went for a short stroll where my eye was caught by this line of mares tails springing up in the crack of the kerbstones.
