Hidden in the Undergrowth

It's good to find a walk somewhere close, where you have not been before. There is always something new to discover and often a few surprises. Today, I came across this fallen chestnut tree. One of the large branches had been sawn off and the stump looked a bit like the eye of a large reptile, peering out of the undergrowth.
