Wood anemone

I think we are just about at peak wood anemone. Its estimated that wood anemone only spread at about six feet every hundred years. Imagine how old these woods are. I can scarcely believe that they are to be destroyed for yet another hideous housing estate. Sussex is doomed and we have finally decided to leave rather than witness it.
