Small, lovely, Spring things

I had a lovely morning walk and I couldn't decided which shot I liked best. The strawberry flowers were tiny and I spotted the first bluebell of the year. The hawthorn is about to burst into flower. I like the contrast with the lichen. The violets are the icing on the cake.
I'm very excited that the travel ban in Scotland is being lifted on Friday. I've had a lovely phone call with my daughter to plan a day trip to visit her next week. We haven't seen her or our one year old grandson since last September so I can't say how much I'm looking forward to it.
