April 12th!

A date that I think many people have been looking towards for a long time...

...I can't say I have done anything differently to mark the occasion!

I headed off on two wheels first thing to make the most of the blue sky and sunshine. It was really cold but the sun definitely took the edge off. I enjoyed the quiet of the open roads and didn't see anybody out strolling/cycling...but I did see plenty of pub gardens looking exceptionally busy!!

I was glad not to be part of the initially "boom" of excitement as people embrace the freedoms but I was really pleased for the pub owners and restaurants. They deserve to do well after such a long period of uncertainty.
