Ticking Over

Wetlands Bird Survey this morning so we were up before the crack of dawn. It was a beautiful morning, if somewhat nippy (see extra). We clocked up 30 species, 3 of which were year ticks - Goldcrest, Great Crested Grebe and this Great Spotted Woodpecker. I'm doing a butterfly survey tomorrow - not too optimistic about seeing much.
