Lock down restrictions lifted?!

Lock down restrictions lifted. Yay! Unless you're in Scotland and then you have to wait another two weeks?! ….........You have absolutely no idea how happy Ann is about this. We've been back in Cornwall for almost two weeks (to prepare our house for our summer lets – officially that's allowed) and to be honest my human has been doing what she would normally do at this time of year in Cornwall..............................

…...............Sit in the sun, see friends outdoors, repaint our sun terrace walls & decking, re-pot plants, sit in the sun a bit more, walk me............................ drink wine (but no where near as much as she does in Edinburgh when she's locked down!) and just generally chillax. And she hasn't even made me watch loads of daytime TV because we've been outside pretty much all of the time.  

This morning I trekked around town at about 8am. Ann's hairdresser was busy organising her salon so we popped in to say 'hello' and she's managed to get an appointment for two weeks time. Yay!!! 

There were a lot of people (and dogs) around first thing this morning. We're thinking loads of holiday makers must have travelled overnight because all the town car parks were almost full by 8.30am. BUT..................... do you know what?............................. the weather has been fabulous today so everyone seems very smiley & happy.

Late morning I went to 'Tehidy Woods' for a walk. Ann thought there might have been lots of lovely bluebells there but there wasn't. Maybe in a few days time? Oh and I only saw one squirrel that needed chasing and I couldn't catch him. Boohoo.

Back home and we had to sit on the sun terrace for another couple of hours. Ann has run out of trashy magazines.

Another little trek around town. It was very busy with loads of holiday makers sitting in all the outdoor/restaurants pubs.

Isn't it lovely that after more than a year, life finally seems to be going back to normal???
