Pottery plaques

A school in Shrewsbury encouraged its students to walk around the town taking note of the decoration around doors and windows, on houses, churches and shops and were then invited to recreate them in pottery. As you can see there were some wonderful pieces made.
The school then closed and all these wonderful bits of art were going to go to waste until someone had the bright idea of installing them in nooks and crannies through the town centre. I think they are fabulous and really brighten up the town.
