Rural Litter Pick
Today's litter pick was very different from our usual Sunday one. To start with, at one point we were serenaded by skylarks!
Our friend organised a team of volunteers, and enlisted the help of the local authority. Hence the high visibility vests, warning signs and posh bag and pickers.
It went very well. We were particularly pleased to remove many glass bottles, a car tyre and a rotting for-sale board. The team filled loads of bags, which will be collected and disposed of.
We finished off with soup and rolls in the local pub where we met.
A very sucessful mornings work.
