First 5 days done!

First theme for my 100 day painting challenge was black and white. I think it helped me to focus on tone and composition which was the idea. 5 of each seems like a good number as I've been excited to get back to having colours again. 

The whole idea, apart from upskilling myself is to force me into painting a variety of different subjects to see what seems to click and then focus on those areas so I can move forward with a better idea of what I want my original art to be. 

So far, I like the exercise of painting in mono but I don't think it's my thing. 

We finally got some actually good news so champagne on a Monday later! It's unbelievably welcome having something to celebrate.
