Glorious April
Today's brilliant sun but still cool weather has produced classic cumulus clouds. Cumulus clouds have flat bases and are often described as "puffy", "cotton-like" or "fluffy" in appearance. Their name derives from the Latin 'cumulo' - meaning heap or pile.
