Giant Flower!

We took a different turn on our walk this morning and in the distance I could see this giant flower. We made a bee line for it as I thought it would be a good blip and Jake was ready for some new territory.

Must have been about 5 metres tall and was actually some kind of giant Aloe Vera. I think it must have tapped into the underground sewer or something as it was so well fed and watered!

A really unusual and magnificent specimen and Jake agreed as he cocked his leg on it and left some p-mail for the next dog that came this way (;0)

Right next to it was a huge cactus which was flowering too and some other succulents so we'll go back another day and check them out.
