Pan-tastic!

A hectic day at the Office, particularly this afternoon with lots of cases overlapping & causing various minor problems. I was kept on my feet & just about finished up my gubbins before the home time bell rang - it was a welcome relief.

Tonight Jenny rustled up a lovely but simple pasta dish for our dinner delectation. It was a recipe that had caught by eye, by Angela Hartnett - Bacon, Leek & Chestnut with Fettuccine (we had swirls instead! but if you're asking, bowties are my favourite), & it was de-lish!

Very much looking forward to the weekend - we have the Big Quiz on Saturday, should be fun! Love a quiz. And we'll have the pleasure of staying with the lovely Stenhouse family & the wonderful Estrella, who is now much better & out of hospital, much to our delight.

Anyway, brain & beauty sleep needed.
