Autumn Pilgrimage
Every year at this time Blackheath is crawling with tourists vying for the perfect autumn leaf shot.
Usually the leaves are the backdrop for selfies, or artfully posed scenes.
Many come bearing tripods.
It's not unusual for people to stand in the centre of Wentworth St, which is reasonably busy, risking life and limb in their quest.
Last year was weirdly quiet, because of Covid, but this year's numbers are slowly building to what will be a crescendo in two or three weeks.
The woman in the blip is taking things to the wackier end of wacky.
She made her way up and down the street holding up a ditzy little soft toy and carefully posing it in front of every tree.
I think I win:))
