Morning Light

We met the walkers at the lakefront this morning - the lake was calm and the light was gorgeous.  We drove to Camphill Road and walked into Hawea and had lunch by the lake.  The light was pretty special there too (extra) but soon became ominous. We set off for the return journey but as forecast (unusually accurate) the heavens opened and it poured.  We got soaked.  I thought my poncho was waterproof - but it isn’t  - my boots are meant to be waterproof - but they aren’t!  Never mind. Still a good day.
